CU 麻豆影院 recently landed the No. 25 spot overall, or the No. 10 spot among public institutions, in The Princeton Review鈥檚听听濒颈蝉迟.

The Princeton Review ranking is strong validation of the good work, past and present, on the CU 麻豆影院 campus,鈥 says Heidi VanGenderen, newly hired Chief Sustainability Officer. 鈥淲e look forward to that ranking improving in the coming years.鈥

Tallied in the summer of 2017, The Princeton Review chose the sustainability-focused institutions based on the schools鈥 scores on sustainability-related policies, practices and programs, in addition to student survey responses.

Student survey questions focused on key factors, according to The Princeton Review: whether students have a quality of life on campus that is both healthy and sustainable, how well a school is preparing students for employment in an increasingly green economy听and how environmentally responsible a school's policies are.

鈥淲e know CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 decades of 鈥榞reen鈥 leadership influence top students to come here and engage in campus sustainability-related actions,鈥 says CU Environmental Center Director Dave Newport. 鈥淎nd campus leadership continues to strengthen its focus on long-term sustainability, which will further enhance student achievement on campus and in their careers.鈥

The ranking represents CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 half-century history of leadership in sustainability, a legacy that includes highly cited climate and energy research, increasing interdisciplinary environmental studies offerings and innovative green听practices that impact campus operations and the larger world.
