CU 麻豆影院 Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance and Business Strategy Carla L. Ho-a has announced the appointment of Madeline A. Sembrat as assistant vice chancellor for , effective Aug.听1.
New Assistant Vice Chancellor for Budget & Fiscal Planning Madeline A. Sembrat
Sembrat joins the CU 麻豆影院 community with over 25 years鈥� experience within the University of Colorado system, serving as a supervisory and staff auditor for the CU system, a senior budget analyst at CU听Denver and CU Anschutz Medical Campus Budget Office and most recently as the director of finance within the School of Medicine at Anschutz.
Sembrat will transition between her role at CU Anschutz and CU 麻豆影院 during the month of August and will assume her full-time role at CU 麻豆影院 beginning Sept. 1.
Through her prior positions, Sembrat collaborated and liaised with various departments and leadership, enhanced transparency of financial statuses听and developed short- and long-range fiscal benchmarks, plans and projects, both at the college and campus level. Sembrat also brings experience in developing, evaluating and recommending cost saving and revenue enhancing strategies, tracking and evaluating spending trends, and developing and adjusting budgets.听
Through her background within the CU system, Sembrat has become a power user of the university鈥檚 financial and human resource systems, as well as the Central Information Warehouse (CIW).
