Over the last couple of years, the 麻豆影院 has been on the hunt for a new admission application that would support applicants to undergraduate, graduate, Continuing Education and MBA programs. Last summer the campus chose Slate, a robust, relational .听

Thursday, May 4

  • Future term undergraduate prospects (2018 and beyond) directed to new request for information form and away from creating a MyCU麻豆影院 account.
  • Future term undergraduate prospects (2018 and beyond) directed to new campus visit registration system and away from creating a MyCU麻豆影院 account.

Tuesday, Aug. 1

  • Undergraduate admission application for 2018 terms goes live and application processing and review begins in new system.

Monday, Sept. 11

  • MyCU麻豆影院 functionality turned off for all but School of Law applicants who will continue to check their status through MyCU麻豆影院.

The system, heralded by admissions offices at research institutions and other comparable universities, will enable the admission offices to deliver a system that is easier to use and a more streamlined experience for both internal and external users. The system also provides enhanced functionality that allows the admissions offices to be more strategic.

Undergraduate admissions will go live with the first phase of functionality on Thursday, May 4.听 In preparation for the transition, the has been working with campus partners directly involved with the recruitment of undergraduate students.

For anyone who interacts with prospective undergraduates less frequently, it is still important to understand how Slate will change the way future prospective undergraduates will take care of business.听 听

The most notable change to external users will be the retirement of the , which means students no longer need to create a MyCU麻豆影院 account to request information, register for an Admission Visit Program, apply for admission, check their status or confirm their intent to enroll.*听

Beginning May 4, instead of creating a MyCU麻豆影院 account, future term undergraduate prospects will request more information about the university by clicking a 鈥淩equest Information鈥 link on the . And to schedule a campus visit, prospective students will simply and then register via that program鈥檚 page.

Once ready to apply, transfers will use the new CU 麻豆影院 transfer application built in Slate, but first-year applicants will continue to apply using the .

Upon submission of an admission application, students will be automatically notified about how to log in to their status page, which will give them access to their application checklist, the scholarship application, transfer credit and other features that allow them to easily take care of business.

*Please note these changes only pertain to future term undergraduate prospects. Any student who is a 2017 applicant or plans to apply for a 2017 term will continue to use MyCU麻豆影院 for admissions-related business.
