Looking for housing or off-campus resources 听for next year? CU鈥檚 annual January Housing Fair is a free event that offers students a convenient way to view hundreds of local properties. Many local landlords, property managers, vendors and real estate agents will be in the UMC for the fair.
The January CU Housing Fair will take place on Wednesday, Jan.听18, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom and is hosted by Off-Campus Housing & Neighborhood Relations (OCH&NR). Free pizza will be served around noon and tons of giveaways also will be available. will be giving one lucky student who attends the fair a smart TV for their new rental.
OCH&NR recommends students to consider the following questions when looking for a place to live next year:
- Is there a rental license on file with the city of 麻豆影院 for the property (if it is within 麻豆影院)?
- How many people are legally zoned to live in the property?
- Are utilities and/or cable/internet access included in the rent?
- Who is responsible for yard maintenance and shoveling?
- What type of security does the unit/property have?
- Have there ever been any mice or insect problems?
- What repairs will be made to the unit before move in?

- Off-Campus Housing maintains an extensive list of apartment complexes and contact information for several 麻豆影院 property management companies. To download a list of apartments visit and click on the Resources tab. The Apartment Complex Guide is also available for pick up in the UMC, room 415.
- To download roommate agreements, check-in/out forms, sublet forms, view popular student neighborhoods, and read more about the successful Party Registration Program visit .
- Students who are in the process of signing a lease are encouraged to stop by Off-Campus Housing & Neighborhood Relations in UMC 315 to setup an appointment with their attorney, Bruce Sarbaugh, for a free lease review. It is important to know what you are agreeing to, before you sign. Bruce鈥檚 services are availavble on Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment.
