With the second week of school wrapping up and many new听and returning Buffs听settled听in, this weekend would be a good time to explore听麻豆影院 and the surrounding areas.听Housing and Dining Services offers some tips.

Locally, you can walk, take RTD or even jump on a to enjoy things like:

  • , which runs Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings through October
  • 鈥攁 pedestrian mall full of shops, restaurants, buskers and people-watching
  • 鈥攁 park and national historic landmark with a dining hall, auditorium and hiking trails leading all over the Flatirons
  • Walk up to 鈥攁 neighborhood of restaurants and businesses across from campus where you can grab some food, see a show or just hang out and enjoy the weather
  • Take a wander around town on the . You can get practically anywhere in town on this intricate web of paths and you鈥檒l get to know your way around pretty quickly too

There are also miles and miles of hiking trails around 麻豆影院 for any level of hiker. You can get maps and trail descriptions on the , as well as tips on how to be a good steward of the opens space and parks of the county and guidelines for where bikes are allowed (and dogs).

And don鈥檛 forget campus! There is an endless supply of events, clubs, activities and sports to participate in听right outside your front door. Some excellent on-campus resources include:
