With the second week of school wrapping up and many newÌýand returning BuffsÌýsettledÌýin, this weekend would be a good time to exploreÌýÂ鶹ӰԺ and the surrounding areas.ÌýHousing and Dining Services offers some tips.
Locally, you can walk, take RTD or even jump on a to enjoy things like:

- —a pedestrian mall full of shops, restaurants, buskers and people-watching
- —a park and national historic landmark with a dining hall, auditorium and hiking trails leading all over the Flatirons
- Walk up to —a neighborhood of restaurants and businesses across from campus where you can grab some food, see a show or just hang out and enjoy the weather
- Take a wander around town on the . You can get practically anywhere in town on this intricate web of paths and you’ll get to know your way around pretty quickly too
There are also miles and miles of hiking trails around Â鶹ӰԺ for any level of hiker. You can get maps and trail descriptions on the , as well as tips on how to be a good steward of the opens space and parks of the county and guidelines for where bikes are allowed (and dogs).
