Open Enrollment Sessions and Fairs will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 5 in the UMC's Glenn Miller Ballroom. Open Enrollment ends at 5 p.m. May 13.听

Sessions for faculty and staff will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. with a retiree session running from 11 a.m. to noon. An Open Enrollment Fair, featuring plan providers, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

鈥淲e bring our benefits professionals and plan vendors to the campuses each spring for a summary of their Open Enrollment options, how to enroll, and what actions they may need to take,鈥 says Michelle Martinez, director of Benefits and Payroll Administration within CU鈥檚 Employee Services department. 鈥淭his is an incredibly valuable forum for learning about plan features and how they can best meet each person鈥檚 needs.鈥澨

By enrolling in CU Health Plan鈥檚 medical offerings, members are eligible to participate in wellness programs through Be Colorado, including CU Health Plan 鈥 Diabetes Prevention, Biometric Screenings, gym discounts and Move., which rewards participants for meeting activity goals with quarterly payouts. Plus, most medical plans cover a wide range of services 鈥 from preventive care to items such as bariatric surgery, hearing aids, acupuncture and more.
