Sacagawea鈥檚 Capture and the History of the West.听The Center for Native American and Indigenous Studies and Pulitzer Prize winner Elizabeth Fenn present a free lecture in IBS room听155A from 5 to 6 p.m. for anyone interested in Native American History. Fenn is the author of Pox Americana and Encounters at the Heart of the World: A History of the Mandan People and is not to be missed! .

Norlin Learner's Lunch - Test Taking: Thinking Like a Teacher.听We all know that taking an exam is a skill, and there鈥檚 more to it than just knowing and understanding a course鈥檚 content. There is an art to writing and understanding test questions and what they鈥檙e trying to extract from your brain, and it is far too possible to be tricked by the way a test is written even when you know the answer. Ralphie鈥檚 Cooking Basics.听As per the Boy Scouts motto, always be prepared, and that applies to entertaining and feeding friends for the Super Bowl. Ralphie鈥檚 Cooking Basics has you covered on learning to cook game-day snacks this week. Sign up for the 5 p.m. class at 4:45 p.m. outside the Alferd Packer Grill and be sure to wear close-toed shoes. .

Showing of Mockingjay: Part 2.听You all must know by now that I love these CHEM 140 movies- it鈥檚 like a better movie theater that doesn鈥檛 smell quite as weird. Mockingjay Part 2 is an awesome adventure of a movie, despite J-Law鈥檚 acting, and should not be missed if you鈥檙e a fan of the books! The movie starts at 8 p.m. and admission and popcorn are free to CU students with a Buff OneCard. .
Rooted Presents: Welcome to Jamrock.听The Dennis Small Cultural Center welcomes David 鈥淐oppa Stone鈥� Kennedy in UMC听room 457 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. for some hip-hop and a free lecture entitled 鈥淛amaican Reggae, Roots, and Culture Beyond Bob Marley.鈥� The event takes place in celebration and observance of Black History Month and is open to everyone. .
