As you likely realize, last Thursday, Dec. 3 was theÌýlaunch dateÌýfor the upgrade to the campus PeopleSoft Human Capital Management System (HCM). This will be followed on Thursday, Dec. 10 by the launch of the upgraded PeopleSoft Financials (FIN). These two dates also mark the completion of nearly two years of effort on the part of the CU System and a wide range of individuals on the Â鶹ӰԺ campus. Hundreds of CU-Â鶹ӰԺ staff members, representing nearly every college, unit and department on campus have committed countless hours to learning, testing, providing feedback and input on these new systems and new business processes.
There is no shortage of individuals on this campus who are committed to making CU-Â鶹ӰԺ successful. We acknowledge and thank those who have given of their time and talents. Please remember that – as is the case with any large systems implementation - patience will be required of us all as the new system becomes operational and members of our community become familiar with changes to business process and new procedures.
The Controller’s Office and the Division of Human Resources have assigned staff to triage situations as they are recognized, interface with the CU System staff, and ensure that challenges which arise are addressed as quickly as possible. They stand ready to help if you or your staff encounter difficulties.
Thank you for all that you are doing to make CU-Â鶹ӰԺ excellent.
