With one week left before the presidential candidate debate at the Coors Events Center, the specific details regarding effects on campus parking and traffic are being finalized. We ask our campus community to be aware of these known closures and re-routes that will be in place.听We encourage planning ahead to minimize disruptions to your schedule, including exploring alternative work arrangements and telecommuting options with your supervisor.
Updated information:
- All public parking lots (including pay station lots) will be closed from 12:01 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
- On Wednesday, Oct. 28, vehicular traffic entering campus via Colorado Avenue, 18th Street, Regent Drive and Euclid Drive must have their campus parking permits visible.
- Areas around the Coors Events Center (including the east sidewalk along Regent Drive) will be closed to non-motorized traffic all day Tuesday, Oct. 27 and Wednesday, Oct. 28; pedestrian access to Coors Plaza will be closed at Kittredge and Regent.
- Affected permit holders will begin receiving alternate parking information this week.

- Euclid AutoPark will not be available for public parking on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
- Regent Drive will be closed to through traffic from 12 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, Oct. 27 through noon Thursday, Oct. 29 and pay station parking along Regent Drive will be unavailable.
- Permit parking lots on Regent Drive currently are scheduled to be open Tuesday, Oct. 27 and Thursday, Oct. 29.听Regent AutoPark and Lot 436N will also be open Wednesday, Oct. 28.
- From 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27听through late Thursday, Oct. 29听permit lots 420 and 436 South and public parking lots 421, 440 and 448 along Regent Drive will be closed.听
- Parking Lot 418, just west of the Coors Events Center, will be closed to permit holders on Oct. 27 and 28.
- The Stampede, 209/209G, J and Buff Bus routes will be detoured during the Regent closure to through traffic from 12 p.m. (noon) Oct. 27 through noon Oct. 29.
