A great way to kick off is to check out the parade and pep rally on Pearl Street on Friday night, beginning at 7 p.m.

With CU鈥檚 national championship quarterback Darian Hagan serving as the grand marshal, the parade will start at 7 p.m. at the 1100 block of Pearl Street and head east. Cheer on the students as they showcase their unique floats during the parade and don't miss the Tebo fire truck. The parade has walking floats only so there should some great creativity.

Follow the parade to the 麻豆影院 Courthouse lawn for a pep rally featuring Athletic Director Rick George and CU football players as they pump up the crowd in preparation for Saturday's football game against Arizona.

Homecoming events on Saturday, Oct. 17:

  • Student tailgate on Farrand Field, 4 to 7 p.m. (all students welcome). The Herd is expanding its tailgate for one day this year! In collaboration with CUSG and the Center for Student Involvement, The Herd is having an all CU student tailgate before the CU vs. Arizona Homecoming football game.听The tailgate inclueds free food for all CU students, fun games and entertainment.
  • Ralphie鈥檚 Corral on Benson Field, 4 to 7 p.m. The Corral includes music, games, the CU marching band and spirit squad. Plus, take your picture with Chip and Ralphie! Perfect for Buffs fans of all ages, Ralphie's Corral is the Official CU Alumni Tailgate.
  • CU vs Arizona football game at 7 p.m. at Folsom Field.
