A stampede, parade and pep rally are in store for the 麻豆影院 community beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 -- part of the 麻豆影院 Homecoming celebrations that will enliven the city throughout the weekend.

New this year, which marks CU-麻豆影院鈥檚 101st Homecoming, the parade is being combined with the stampede and moving from 麻豆影院鈥檚 University Hill to Pearl Street.

Not just the hundreds of returning alumni for the weekend, but also students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to participate in CU-麻豆影院鈥檚 Homecoming, one of the longest standing traditions at the university.

The Homecoming Concert, presented by Program Council and the CU Student Government, will present Radical Something. The event will be held at the Glenn Miller Ballroom Wednesday, Oct. 14, with doors opening at 8 p.m. Tickets, available at , are $3 for students and $5 for all others.

The 86th annual Alumni Awards Ceremony, honoring 12 outstanding alumni, faculty, staff members and students, will be held in the newly renovated Glenn Miller Ballroom at the University Memorial Center Thursday, Oct. 15, at 5:45 p.m. Details and registration, which is free for students and $20 for campus and community members, are at .

The CU-麻豆影院 Alumni Association will host Buffs Bash at The Lazy Dog from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, gearing up for the stampede, parade and pep rally to follow. The event is free for CU-麻豆影院 alumni and registration is available at .

With CU鈥檚 national championship quarterback Darian Hagan serving as the grand marshal, the parade will start at 7 p.m. at the 1100 block of Pearl Street and head east.

The parade will culminate in a pep rally featuring CU athletes and coaches on the courthouse lawn located between 13th and 14th streets on Pearl Street

The Alumni Association鈥檚 pregame event, Ralphie鈥檚 Corral, starts at 4 p.m. The event will be located at Benson Field, which is south of Folsom Field, and will include performances by the CU Marching Band and Spirit Squad, a family fun zone, concession and merchandise sales and an extended appearance by Ralphie the buffalo.

This year鈥檚 Homecoming football game, a at Folsom Field, features the Colorado Buffaloes taking on the Arizona Wildcats with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
