The Labor, Trades and Crafts Trainee Program (known more informally as the Trades Apprenticeship Program) is designed for current Facilities Management employees who aspire to hold trades positions but don't meet state requirements. Upon successful completion of the rigorous two-year apprenticeship, participants not only meet state requirements but are also eligible for promotion into preventative maintenance or structural trades positions within the department.
