During the week of July 20, the City of 麻豆影院 and 麻豆影院 police departments will step up crosswalk safety enforcement and education to increase awareness of 麻豆影院鈥檚 crosswalk-related ordinances and promote safer streets for all travel options. This five-day effort will target crosswalks where more collisions between pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers were recorded in the 2012 , many of which are located on or near the university campus.
As part of the Heads Up 麻豆影院 campaign, next week鈥檚 enhanced enforcement will focus on three of the city鈥檚 crosswalk safety ordinances. The fines for violating any of these three crosswalk ordinances range from $50 to $125, and drivers may also receive points against their license.

This crosswalk safety campaign includes partnerships with the 麻豆影院, 麻豆影院 Valley School District and Community Cycles. Additional spot enforcement activities are planned for September 2015, after 麻豆影院 students begin the fall semester.
