Students attending the first home football game Saturday against Arizona State University at 8 p.m. are encouraged to arrive at Folsom Field early to enjoy all the gameday festivities.

Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. and student seating is first-come, first-served, so fans who want to be in the first few rows should arrive early. With the ongoing construction, the majority ofÌýÌýare no longer available, so fans are strongly encouraged to arrive at the gates no later than 30 minutes before kickoff to avoid lines and to get into the building quickly and safely with plenty of time before Ralphie and the Buffaloes take the field. Students have their own entrance gates on the south side of Folsom Field.

Pregame highlights include a Ìýthe unveiling of a special contribution from the creators of "South Park" that will be shown 10 minutes before kickoffÌýon the Folsom Field video boards. Fans can also visit Ralphie’s Corral, located just south of Benson Earth Sciences, where Ralphie herself (weather permitting) arrives at Ìý5:30 p.m. and will be available for photo opportunities. Or stop by to grab a glance of her until about 30 minutes before kickoff. Ralphie will lead the Buffs onto the field five minutes before the game begins at 8 p.m.

Fans who arrive an hour early, can also catchÌýÌýperformance in Ralphie’s Corral before they head to Balch Fieldhouse for another performance shortly thereafter.

A few other reminders for gameday:

  • If you wear black clothing to the game, remember it is harder for drivers to see you, so be especially careful when crossing streets.
  • Student tickets are still available.ÌýPlease visitÌýÌýfor more information. It will be the only way to access men’s basketball tickets this season. If you purchase before 11 a.m. on Saturday, the tickets will be placed on your Buff OneCard, otherwise you can purchase at the game.
  • Make sure your Buff OneCard is working!Ìý You must use it to swipe into the game and if it does not work, you will have to go to the Buff OneCard office to get the issue resolved.
  • Outside the stadium, there will be enhanced enforcement by the Alcohol Control Board.
  • If you are cited for a MIP or other offense, it will be reported back to theÌýOffice of Student Conduct.
