Kill Paris will headline the annual Welcomefest Concert taking place on Farrand Field on Saturday, Aug. 23. The doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show begins at 6 p.m. The annual Welcomefest Concert is sponsored by

The concert is open only to currently enrolled CU-麻豆影院 students, who can pick up wristbands (for concert entry) at one of the Buff OneCard scanning stations. Information on when and where students will be able to pick up their wristbands will be released closer to the concert date.听

Also performing at the concert is 麻豆影院-based electronic听band EOTO, local 麻豆影院 DJs Bearsohmy and Australian indie rock band听The Griswolds.听

Indiana native Corey Baker began playing music when he was 15, mastering several instruments before beginning to produce and perform听electronic music. His genre, stylized as 鈥渇uture funk,鈥 encompasses several varieties of electronic, dubstep and funk. This unique mixture became听synonymous with the Kill Paris label.听

After a brief tour period in late 2012, Kill Paris released his first EP, 鈥淭o a听New Earth,鈥 featuring remixes by several artists. His second EP, 鈥淔oreplay,鈥 was released by OWSLA, his record label.听

Baker is currently on a North American tour,听and will stop in 麻豆影院 (his current home) to perform at the Welcomefest Concert.听
