Dr. Don Misch, assistant vice chancellor for Health and Wellness, has named Gary Chadwick director of Recreation Services at the 麻豆影院. He will officially transition from his current interim role on Aug. 1, 2014.
Chadwick has served in various roles at CU-麻豆影院 in a career that has spanned over 30 years. After graduating from CU, Gary became the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Lafayette. In 1978 he began his CU professional career, serving at various times as Director of Recreation Services, Assistant Vice Chancellor for UCSU Major Auxiliaries and Director of Recreation Services, and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Health and Wellness and Director of the Wardenburg Health Center.
鈥淎fter coming out of retirement last year, Gary has served ably in the challenging role of interim Director of Recreation Services, working diligently and successfully to complete the Buff Up the Rec expansion/renovation project, assist Rec Center staff in the many transitions over the past year or so, and appropriately reorganize staff and fill vacancies,鈥� said Misch, 鈥淕ary鈥檚 knowledge, skill, and enthusiasm for recreational services have been amply demonstrated over the course of many years.鈥�
