The Office for University Outreach is pleased to announce a very special professional development opportunity for CU-麻豆影院 staff. "Community-颅University Boundary Spanners: A Framework for Capacity Building, Quality Improvement, and Professional Development for Outreach and Engagement Staff" will be held on Friday, June 6 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on campus.听

This workshop provides an opportunity for outreach and engagement staff to coalesce around their roles, skills, values, opportunities and challenges, and learn ways to strengthen outreach and engagement practices. A program of the Engagement Scholarship Consortium, the workshop will be co-facilitated by Katherine Loving, civic engagement coordinator for the University of Wisconsin Madison, and Susan B. Harden, assistant professor at the University of North Carolina Charlotte.听

We invite you to submit a self-nomination or nominate a colleague to attend. The event is designed for staff only, but faculty members are encouraged to nominate their staff colleagues.听

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, April 18 and staff members will be notified in early May if they are selected to participate. Download the workshop flyer at for more information about the program and the nomination process.
