麻豆影院 Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano today named 11 members to his Strategic Advisory Council. DiStefano unveiled the council concept last fall at his State of the Campus address, saying it would it help him and the university鈥檚 combined leadership to 鈥渕ake innovations in how we serve students, continue to build and sustain our reputation in Colorado and across the nation, identify support for new research collaborations and revise our fiscal and organizational model to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.鈥

At today鈥檚 spring Campus Update Town Hall Meeting at Old Main on the CU-麻豆影院 campus, DiStefano announced the council鈥檚 inaugural members:

  • Norman L. Augustine, former Lockheed Martin president and assistant secretary of the Army
  • Dr. Pamela A. Drew, corporate vice president and president of Information Systems Exelis Inc.
  • Brad Feld, entrepreneur, investor and co-founder of the Foundry Group, a venture capital firm
  • Allison M. Keller, executive director and chief financial officer of the W.M. Keck Foundation, a private charitable foundation with over $1 billion in assets
  • Denise M. O鈥橪eary, a private venture capital investor and corporate director
  • William 鈥淏ill鈥 N. Reinert, national manager of advanced technology for Toyota Motor Sales, USA
  • Todd Rulon-Miller, founding partner of Apogee Venture Group, an early stage venture investment and consulting firm
  • Mark Sirangelo, corporate vice president, Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) and chairman of SNC Space Systems
  • Robert D. Strain, president of Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp.
  • Philip A. Washington, RTD general manager
  • Earl Wright, chair of the Board & Executive Committee, AMG National Trust Bank

DiStefano said he is asking the group of industry leaders to 鈥渂ring the lessons of transformation from their companies, organizations and firms鈥 to the table to assist CU-麻豆影院 鈥渋n its own continued transformation under our Flagship 2030 Strategic Plan.鈥

鈥淚 want to thank this group of diverse and outstanding leaders for devoting their time and for agreeing to serve on the Strategic Advisory Council,鈥 said DiStefano. 鈥淭ogether, I am confident that we can develop new strategies, resources and directions for CU-麻豆影院 in a challenging time, and strengthen the public-private partnerships that helped establish CU-麻豆影院, and that have sustained it for nearly 140 years.鈥
