Campus staff are the backbone of this university, supporting its goals and achievements for more than a century, and helping to make the University of Colorado what it is today. 麻豆影院 Campus Staff Council would like to thank each and every one of you for your efforts in achieving these goals. 听听

The Awards and Staff Recognition (ASR) Committee of 麻豆影院 Campus Staff Council is taking on the challenge of documenting staff accomplishments both past and present. To promote these achievements, we are partnering with the Department of Human Resources to develop additional recognition programs, and trying to answer the more than 130 year-old question, 鈥淲ho was the first staff person hired at CU that did not also teach?鈥
听
The University of Colorado staff have a family tree full of remarkable colleagues who are breaking down barriers, creating innovative solutions to student and administrative issues, and more often than not, just doing their jobs - day in and day out - at a level has added to CU鈥檚 reputation.
听
The ASR committee is researching the contributions of staff to the university, community and each other. Our goal is to develop a centralized archive of staff achievements and a history that can be accessed by the CU community.
听
The committee will need the help of all CU staff to accomplish this task. Many of our colleagues are second and third generation employees. We want to hear your great staff stories: What was it like when CU brought in its first computers? How did you recruit students during the train age? What have been your challenges through the years of cooking for students, maintaining our buildings and keeping our grounds?

If you would like to share a story or help the committee with this project, please contact scouncil@colorado.edu or visit our website at
