The University of Colorado at 麻豆影院 is preparing to begin construction on a new building for the Institute of Behavioral Science, or IBS. The pre-construction work is scheduled to start on Monday, July 6, with excavation beginning in the middle of July.

The institute, which provides interdisciplinary research on issues of societal concern, is currently dispersed across eight small buildings within the Grandview area and two floors of a downtown 麻豆影院 office building. The new building at the corner of 15th Street and Grandview Avenue, which is scheduled to open in September 2010, will consolidate the offices into one space.

During the excavation period in July and August, an increase in truck traffic volume on University Avenue, 15th Street and 17th Street is expected. Maximum effort will be made to reduce the impact of traffic on parkers and commuters in the area and safety for all will be the highest priority.

CU-麻豆影院 staff are notifying neighbors in the area about the construction. People can call 303-492-4971 with questions, comments, or concerns about the IBS construction. CU-麻豆影院 staff will respond to any inquiries within a 48-hour time period.
