Colorado residents age 55 and older are eligible to audit regular daytime classes at the University of Colorado at 麻豆影院 for a nominal fee through the Senior Auditors Program.

Sponsored by the CU-麻豆影院 Alumni Association, the program allows seniors to audit CU-麻豆影院 classes tuition-free. Registration for CU-麻豆影院 fall semester courses will take place Sept. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sept. 3 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Koenig Alumni Center, 1202 University Ave. on the southeast corner of Broadway and University. Free parking is available on a limited basis in the Koenig lot for those registering.

This year, the cost to attend the Senior Auditors Program is $10 per semester. Participants do not need to be CU graduates or Alumni Association members.

Participants should first check online for the list of CU-麻豆影院 classes offered for fall 2008 at . Click on Fall 2008 and Search Courses or go to and click on Fall 2008 Course Listings.

Auditors must obtain permission from professors to audit courses. Classes begin Aug. 25, so the Alumni Association recommends auditors attend the first week of classes to obtain permission to audit from professors. Spanish and Portuguese courses cannot be audited and regular tuition-paying students have priority over auditors. Senior Auditors do not earn academic credit for courses taken.

The Senior Auditors Program was established by the CU Board of Regents in 1973 and has grown to involve about 500 participants annually. For more information call the Alumni Association at 303-492-8484 or visit /.
