The Denver-based Rose Community Foundation has granted $10,000 in support of the Child Learning Center at the University of Colorado at 麻豆影院 to support ongoing operations of the center's myriad programs.
CU's Child Learning Center is an innovative educational facility that supports a variety of educational programs for typically developing children and for children with special needs. The programs include an accredited preschool, programs for both English- and Spanish-speaking parents of special needs children, and free screenings and assessments for children in 麻豆影院 County preschools.
"We are very grateful for the continuing support of Rose Community Foundation," said Susan Moore, director of clinical education and services at CU-麻豆影院's department of speech, language and hearing sciences. "This gift will go a long way in improving the quality of services we can offer to young children with disabilities and their families."
Rose Community Foundation makes grants to organizations and institutions serving the seven-county Greater Denver community in the areas of aging, child and family development, education, health and Jewish life.
