The University of Colorado at 麻豆影院 is again the number one destination for Colorado high school seniors receiving prestigious all-expense-paid Boettcher Scholarships.

Twelve new Boettcher Scholars will begin attending CU-麻豆影院 in the fall. The incoming freshman Boettcher winners come from 11 different high schools around the state. The group includes six women and six men.

Each year the Boettcher Foundation selects 40 outstanding high school seniors to receive the scholarships, which cover all college-related expenses at any institution in Colorado. Boettcher Scholars are widely regarded as some of the best all-around students in the state.

"For the ninth time in 10 years, CU-麻豆影院 is the choice of most Boettcher Scholars," said Kevin MacLennan, interim admissions director at CU-麻豆影院. "We are extremely proud that Colorado's best high school students recognize the quality of our university and the enormous opportunities they can find here."

MacLennan praised the recruitment effort of CU's Boettcher Team, directed by Joan Gabriel. "The team provides support and enrichment for Boettcher Scholars on our campus, and works closely with the Admissions Office's talented scholar recruitment team, along with the support of faculty and staff campus-wide," MacLennan said.

CU-麻豆影院's 2005 freshman Boettcher class includes: Ryan Biehle, Grand Junction Central High School; Nicholas Breitnauer, Cedaredge High School, Cedaredge, Colo.; Daniel Delany, Basalt High School; Robert Hodgkinson, Burlington High School; Thuy Huynh, Aurora Central High School; Morgan Lauer, Sterling High School; James Liu, Legacy High School, Broomfield, Colo.; Reema Mallick, Legacy High School; Rosio Martinez, Standley Lake High School; Suguna Narayan, Thornton High School; James Peng, Dakota Ridge High School, Littleton, Colo.; Cassiope Sydoriak, Lakewood High School.

Originally created as a charitable corporation in 1952 by Claude and Charles Boettcher, the Boettcher Foundation distributes awards, grants and scholarships exclusively within Colorado. It now includes more than 1,900 current scholars and alumni and has provided nearly $40 million in undergraduate scholarships.
