Former U.S. Sen. Gary Hart is one of several speakers who will be on the University of Colorado at 麻豆影院 campus May 5-6 to speak at special recognition ceremonies for spring graduates.

Most CU-麻豆影院 schools and colleges will hold recognition ceremonies for their graduates in addition to the main university commencement ceremony on Friday, May 6, at 8:30 a.m. in Folsom Stadium.

Following is a schedule of special events in the schools and colleges.

鈭慍ollege of Architecture and Planning recognition ceremony, Thursday, May 5, at 3 p.m. on the Duane Physics lawn. A reception will follow in the Environmental Design Building, room 134.

鈭慙eeds School of Business undergraduate recognition ceremony, Thursday, May 5, at 4:30 p.m. in the Coors Events/Conference Center.

鈭慙eeds School of Business MBA recognition ceremony, Friday, May 6, at 3 p.m. in Macky Auditorium. John P. Puerner, publisher, president and CEO of the Los Angeles Times, will be the speaker.

鈭慡chool of Education recognition ceremony, Thursday, May 5, at 5:30 p.m. in Macky Auditorium. State Rep. Jack Pommer, D-麻豆影院, will be the speaker.

鈭慍ollege of Engineering and Applied Science recognition ceremony, Thursday, May 5, at 8 p.m. in the Coors Events/Conference Center. Lucinda Sanders, CEO of the National Center for Women and Information Technology, will be the speaker.

鈭慓raduate School recognition ceremony, Friday, May 6, immediately following the main university commencement ceremony at the CU Museum of Natural History in the Henderson Building.

鈭慡chool of Journalism and Mass Communication recognition ceremony, Thursday, May 5, at 2 p.m. in Macky Auditorium. Jonathan Weil, a reporter for The Wall Street Journal and a 1991 graduate of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, will be the speaker.

鈭慡chool of Law recognition ceremony, Friday, May 6, at 11:30 a.m. in Macky Auditorium. Hart will be the speaker. The ceremony is only open to students, faculty and staff, and tickets are required. A reception will follow at the Fleming Law Building.

鈭慍ollege of Music recognition ceremony, Thursday, May 5, at 3 p.m. in the Imig Music Building's Grusin Music Hall. Eileen Tate Cline, dean emerita of the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, will be the speaker.

Many departments in the College of Arts and Sciences also will hold events to recognize their graduates. Many events may not be open to the public, and in some cases tickets may be required. Contact individual departments for further information.
