The Colorado Shakespeare Festival's Living Shakespeare outreach program will visit 麻豆影院's East Senior Center, 5660 Sioux Dr., to present a four-session class previewing the shows of the upcoming 2000 CSF season.
Lawrence Tatom, assistant director of the 2000 CSF presentation of "Henry V," will give the first presentation Wednesday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. CU-麻豆影院 doctoral and master's students of theater, who are the assistant directors and background researchers for the summer CSF plays, will meet to provide an overview of the plays and facilitate discussion with area senior citizens.
The class runs April 12 to May 3, on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Presentations include:
o "Twelfth Night," presented by assistant director Julie Chase, April 19.
o "The Tempest," presented by assistant director Heather Smith, April 26.
o "Julius Caesar," presented by assistant directors Jeff Grapko and Kevin Brown, May 3rd.
Interested senior citizens can register to attend the class by phone, by mailing the form or by walk-in registration. The registration form is available in the Senior Services Spring Quarterly Magazine mailed out to more than 5,000 senior homes and placed in local retirement homes. The class costs $16 for 麻豆影院 residents and $20 for non-麻豆影院 residents.
