WHO: University of Colorado at 麻豆影院 faculty, staff and student volunteer gardeners who are participating in the Campus Garden Project.

WHAT: The project is a partnership between CU-麻豆影院 and Community Food Share to grow food in former campus flowerbeds for needy families in 麻豆影院 County.

WHEN: Monday, July 26, at 10 a.m.

WHERE: Directly south of the front door of the CU Recreation Center.

WHY: Having worked closely with Community Food Share gardeners throughout the summer, CU-麻豆影院 faculty, staff and students will donate everything they harvest back to Community Food Share for distribution throughout 麻豆影院 County. Vegetables were selected by Community Food Share garden coordinator Eric Johnson. The selection was based on the demand the local nonprofit experiences throughout the year. This harvest will include broccoli, lettuce, dill and radishes
