Joshua Shelton completed his MA in Religious Studies in 2019. After receiving his MDiv in Buddhism from Naropa University, Joshua came up the hill to continue developing his scholarly interest in queer theory, gender studies, and theories of religion. His research focuses on the gendered dimensions of tantric ritual, narrative, and ideology in Tibetan Vajray膩na Buddhism, with particular interest in the ethical dimensions of tantric masculinities.
