Soft robotics with strength, speed & precision
Check out research that one of our dancers, Maddie King, is working on here at CU!
Snipits from the article By Trent Knoss: Keplinger said. 鈥淭he devices reproduce the adaptability of an octopus arm, the speed of a hummingbird and the strength of an elephant.鈥

When voltage is applied, the liquid displaces and changes the flexible shell鈥檚 shape. Flip the switch off and the device relaxes, resuming its original form."
