Donating blood this fall is a simple yet profound way to make a difference. CU 麻豆影院 Staff Council, along with longtime partner Vitalant, is excited to announce an upcoming blood drive! Each donation can save up to three lives, making a direct impact on individuals facing medical emergencies, surgeries, or chronic illnesses. By rolling up your sleeve this October, you're becoming a beacon of hope and vitality for those whose lives depend on the generosity of donors like you.

Why: Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Donating blood is a selfless and impactful act of kindness, and each donation can save up to three different lives. Hospitals in the area and medical facilities rely on voluntary blood donors to provide a steady blood supply for medical procedures, surgeries, and emergencies.

We are committed to achieving our blood drive goals and Staff Council is confident that the CU 麻豆影院 community will rise to the occasion. With your support and participation, we can surpass our October target of sixty units per day and make a remarkable impact with each donation.

How to prepare: 

• Review eligibility criteria:
• Eat a healthy meal and stay hydrated before your donation appointment
• Bring a valid photo ID
• Try and get a good night鈥檚 sleep the day before
