With the support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Science Foundation, the Natural Hazards Center released a Special Call for Quick Response proposals for research in the U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Thanks to the support of the CDC and NSF, the Center will be able to offer between 12 to 24 awards in the amounts of $25,000 to $50,000.
