SAA held two events in December to spread some holiday joy! 

The first event included AuD students coming together to make holiday gift cards for the residents of a nearby retirement home called the Flatirons Terrace Senior Living. Residents were very appreciative and grateful for the cards! The second event was a toy drive coordinated by SAA to deliver and donate many gifts to the Boys and Girls Club.

For the month of October SAA planned a pumpkin patch social event! First, second, and third year AuD students came together to pick pumpkins, have rubber duck races, feed farm animals and take a hay ride through the pumpkin patch! Pumpkin Patch Fun!

For the first social event of the year SAA went ice skating at the CU 麻豆影院 ice rink! While it was cold it was really exciting and fun to have everyone come together before everyone got busy with school!

Ask me 麻豆影院 Audiology Day on Pearl Street!

Ask me 麻豆影院 Audiology Day is an annual event organized by the SAA board that allows AuD students to educate the public about noise exposure and the importance of wearing hearing protection. First, Second, and Third year students took one-hour shifts to hand out bookmarks that talked about noise exposure, free hearing protection and gave out silly jokes to get the public involved! This was a great event that allowed young professionals to talk about what we do and why it is important.

The Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) here at CU 麻豆影院, is having a Food Drive which will benefit the 麻豆影院 Community Food Share.

Donations can be made in the following ways: 

1. Monetary donations can be made to our Fenly account linked below. Donations will be be accessed directly by the 麻豆影院 Community Food Share:  

         

2. Place cans in the donation boxes near the front entrance stairs in the SLHS building.

3. To arrange a pick-up for your donation of cans and other physical goods, please email Laura Howard
