Retirement should be viewed as a new beginning: a time to redirect and refocus our attention to interests previously unpursued, and a time to take on new, novel challenges as the landscape of the Â鶹ӰԺ campus and the landscape of higher education, in general continues to evolve in the 21st century. With this in mind, the CU Â鶹ӰԺ Retired Faculty Association (UCBRFA) was established in 2020 to facilitate successful retirement experiences for current and soon-to-be retirees, andÌýencourage retired faculty members to remain actively involved in academic, educational, scholarly and cultural activities on the Â鶹ӰԺ campus. The association is supported and funded by the Office of the Chancellor, the Office of the Provost , and the Office of Faculty Affairs, and is closely allied with the Â鶹ӰԺ Faculty Assembly (BFA).
UCBRFA welcomes members from all categories of retired and soon-to-be-retired CU faculty, their spouses and domestic partners, and members of the Â鶹ӰԺ community with an interest in participating in the association’s activities and programming.
