Program Summary

This opportunity is designed to identify and launch a new Feed the Future Innovation Lab focused on aquaculture and fisheries research and capacity development at the smallholder and food systems levels. The awardee鈥檚 primary responsibility will be to develop, select, and manage a portfolio of fish research and capacity-development activities. The goal of the Fish Innovation Lab is to reduce global hunger, malnutrition and poverty through science, technology, and innovation.

There is a limit of one application per eligible institution.

Award Information and Duration

USAID intends to provide up to $15,000,000 in total USAID funding over a five year period of performance. The ceiling for this program is up to $35,000,000 (with $20,000,000 set aside as a pool for potential Associate Awards and buy-ins).
