Friends,Ìý

Highlights from the Â鶹ӰԺ’s 2016–17 research and creative work make one thing clear: Our work has never been more innovative or more important.

As you’ll see throughout this report, we are now directing our efforts toward three strategic imperatives: shaping tomorrow’s leaders, being the top innovation university, and positively impacting humanity. This renewed focus is helping harness and direct the incredible diversity of interests and expertise on our campus to change lives and shape the world.

The report also demonstrates how pervasive innovation is here at CU Â鶹ӰԺ. Even a sampling of the featured stories reveals the breadth of the entrepreneurial mindset that defines our campus and community:

This collection shows the depth and range in innovation, research, scholarship and creative work that set CU Â鶹ӰԺ apart.

Our ability to attract a record $508 million in research funding, while remarkable, only hints at the transformational impact we are creating. It is a tribute to the innovative mindset and excellence of our faculty, researchers and staff, as well as the undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, entrepreneurs, and government and industry partners who are so vital to our work.

I hope you enjoy these compelling stories from the past year, and I look forward to your continuing engagement and partnership in the coming year.

Warm regards,
