Note: The last day to join a waitlist for an in-person or hybrid in-person/remote and/or online class is 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17.
How Waitlists Work
Waitlists can be confusing, so here's a quick overview of how they work:
- When an enrolled student drops the class, the first eligible waitlisted student automatically takes their place.
- If you're enrolled from the waitlist, you'll receive an email confirmation within 24 hours.
- If you're retaking the class for grade replacement, by the posted deadline.
Waitlisting Tips
- Register for a backup class and set up drop if enrolled to ensure you have a full schedule if you aren't enrolled from the waitlist.
- to help gauge your likelihood of being enrolled.
- If it doesn't look like you'll be enrolled, consider staying on the waitlist so you can use course reservation in the future.
