What is the difference between the Psychology and Neuroscience recognition ceremony and the campus-wide commencement ceremony?
  • 罢丑别听commencement ceremony聽is the campuswide ceremony in which students from all colleges and schools participate. The chancellor of the 麻豆影院 campus officially confers degrees upon graduating students at this ceremony.
  • Recognition ceremonies are celebrations of individual student achievement. This is where graduating students have their names called and receive their diploma cover as they cross the stage.聽
I didn鈥檛 receive an email to RSVP to the ceremony. What should I do?

Make sure you have submitted your graduation application. If you have, then the next step is to check your email鈥檚 spam folder. If you still do not see an email to RSVP, please contact Sadie Halnier (sadie.halnier@colorado.edu) for assistance.

Can I walk in both Fall and Spring Psychology and Neuroscience Ceremonies?

For PSYC & NRSC graduation ceremonies, we ask that you pick聽辞苍别听to attend, whether that be in the Fall or Spring. You are welcome to attend the聽campus-wide ceremony聽in the Spring no matter which PSYC & NRSC ceremony you attend.

Will the ceremony be livestreamed?

Yes, the Spring聽Psychology and Neuroscience recognition ceremony will be livestreamed. The link will be posted to our website the week of May 10th.

Where and when do I receive my cords and/or medals?

If a graduate is awarded graduation cords and/or medals, they will be contacted by the department/organization/school that awards the cord. Please refer to this聽academic regalia page聽and contact the respective office if you have questions about cords, medals, etc.

Are tickets required?

No tickets are required for the Psychology and Neuroscience recognition ceremony.

Is there a limit to how many guests a graduate can bring?

There is no limit to how many guests can attend.

Can I bring a purse or large bag into the CU Events Center?

The CU Events Center has a聽聽that we will continue to enforce the day of the ceremony. If you plan to bring a bag, it must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC, and no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. CU Events Center does not allow backpacks, diaper bags and other bags. Lockers are available onsite.

Where is the nearest ADA parking?

ADA parking is available along Regent Drive in front of the CU Events Center. ADA placard must be visible.
