CU Psychology and Neuroscience postdoctoral researcher Matt Frank (technically in iPHY but the grant is Psychology and Neuroscience's, as are some of his collaborators) was in the news, being interviewed for an article in CU 麻豆影院 Today about his research investigating Long Covid. The research, published in Brain Behavior and Immunity, suggests that Covid can leave behind certain proteins that diminish cortisol levels, which in turn can inflame the nervous system and leave an organism prone to overreact to further immune stressors.
