Women's Rage

I’ve been hitting a lot of road blocks whenever I start to feel anger in my life-- I don’t know how to feel it, express it, or resolve it. I slowly realized that I am not allowed to feel rage because I am a woman, and women are not allowed to get angry in this society. I set out to make this film because I knew that I was not the only silenced woman out there. In this film, I ask four women about what enrages them: Reagan Emery, a CU student, Dr. Jennifer Ho, an Ethnic Studies Professor at CU, Dr. Abby Hickcox, an Honors Professor at CU, and Sophie DiBiase, a University of Pittsburgh student. After listening to these women, I found that their rage was deeply valid and worthy of expression. My hope is that women watching this film will feel liberated to talk about their rage as well.
