Ping Pong Mockumentary inspired by 鈥淭he Last Dance鈥, starring Tal Behor as Beans Morocco. This mockumentary will take you on a journey throughout Beans鈥 experiences with Ping Pong throughout his life. We will discuss Beans鈥 success with Ping Pong as a teen and young adult, and what led him to his legendary match with reigning Ping Pong king (Igor Tverskoy).

My mockumentary about Beans Morocco will detail his childhood playing ping pong, his career so far in pong, and lastly the championship match against another ping pong legend, Igor Tverskoy. I will听 include multiple interviews with Beans, other ping pong players, journalists, Beans鈥 sister, and Beans鈥 coach. I will also include footage from the championship match, along with some found footage. The music and sound effects I add will be crucial to the overall feel of the film. My project will ultimately manifest as a video that people can access on youtube, vimeo, and other websites. I feel very good about this project as i am able to work on all of my media production skills, like cinematography, video-editing, sound-editing, producing, and directing. This is the first, rather large project in which I had to take on the responsibility of all of these roles and I am excited about it. I believe that I will learn that I do like directing people, and I enjoy visualizing scenes and making them come together. My project is inspired by sports documentaries, movies, and mockumentaries, including 鈥淭he Last Dance鈥, 鈥淭iger鈥, 鈥7 Days in Hell鈥, and 鈥淏alls of Fury鈥.
