This project is a visual magazine mixing reporting, music, sports, video, and sound with experimental aesthetic. It is a video projected upon a backdrop (wall) and intended to be portable like a physical magazine.

This visual magazine is intended to be a showcase and retrospective of my entire media career up until this point throughout my college career. It combines the sports journalism work I’ve done; the music and audio work I’ve done in radio; the media aesthetics work I’ve done in video; some of the extended realities work I’ve done; and the performative media work I’ve done with softwares like Isadora. The video starts out like a piece of journalism reporting on an up-and-coming band out of New York before morphing into a music video. As the video progresses it becomes more erratic before losing form all together. The different technologies used include a video camera, 360 camera, audio recording .mp3 file and .wav files, hand-drawn animation on a Wacom Tablet, Adobe Suite, old celluloid, and archival footage. The video was achieved by mixing multiple video channels in Isadora and then doing additional editing and remixing in Adobe Premiere.

Animating the singing animation- The singing animation was achieved by recording the singer singing the song, tracking the facial movements on the computer, and then tracing and animating each frame by hand and stitching it together.

Animating on Wacom Tablet- The animated portion was animated by hand on a Wacom Tablet in Photoshop frame by frame
