Bones of Being is an EP that blends folk, pop, and electronic music elements. Inspired by forest ecosystems and her love of wandering through the woods, each song leads listeners deeper into the sonic terrains of Ruby Begay’s lyrical musings and compositional explorations. There are three distinct songs, but much like the wilderness, they are a part of the bigger whole. At their borders, they create ecotones - areas where two ecosystems meet, with increased diversity and unique sound characteristics. Begay aims to evoke a sense of wonder as the musical landscape shifts and changes.
