Research Interests
Brian鈥檚 research focuses on the water resources and natural hazards implications of disturbances such as wildfire, forestry, extreme hydroclimatic events, insect damage, and other abrupt landscape disruptions. His disturbance hydrology investigations utilize field measurements, laboratory characterization, and numerical modeling to understand fluxes and pathways of water and solutes from plot to watershed scales.
