Project Description

The Project involves performing research and development on improving the performance of a vapor cell based optical frequency reference.  Specific tasks will include assembling microfabricated rubidium vapor cells, testing the performance of the optical frequency reference via measurements with an optical frequency comb, and designing software and electronics to improve the instability of the locked probe laser.
