How did PCDP prepare you for college and your professional life?
No matter where you go, it is important to establish a community. People who are mentors, leaders, visionaries, friends, and loved ones. It is also important to show up for folks. PCDP believed in me and I continue that legacy by mentoring BIPOC communities in the design and technology field.
What’s your favorite PCDP memory?
Getting a real-life college experience from 8th-11th grade. Loved coming to campus and seeing people who looked like me and shared similar values. I especially appreciated my tutors, counselors, teachers, and advisors who were all invested in my success as a student.
What is a fun fact about you?
I am working on my pilot's license. Enjoying sunny California living.
