The incident occurred at approximately 10 PM, Wed. He demanded that the reporting party give him his keys and personal belongings. The suspect then stole the reporting party’s vehicle and was last seen driving northbound on Broadway. Regional police agencies have been notified of the suspect and vehicle description. The reporting party said the suspect had his hand in the black bag through the entirety of the interaction leading the reporting party to believe the suspect was armed.</p> <p dir="ltr">The suspect is described as a Black male with dreadlocks, wearing black pants and a&nbsp; white/beige puffer coat.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Police are looking for a 2021 Toyota 4-Runner TRD off-road vehicle with black rims and a gold border around the rear license plate; Texas plate PPP3282.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">CUPD is investigating. Police received a report of a white 2016 Hyundai Tucson stolen from lot 622 at Williams Village at approximately 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, followed by a report of an attempted theft of a white Kia Forte in the same lot at approximately 8:45 p.m. Dec. 10.&nbsp;Police believe the incidents are connected. No one was injured and police do not believe there is a threat to life or safety. The suspect entered the facility by providing false information to staff and then stole or ransacked multiple backpacks from hallway cubbies and took credit cards and cash from the backpacks. One of the credit cards was used to purchase more than $400 in Visa gift cards at a local convenience store. The suspect is believed to be involved in a similar case at the Rec Center on March 29, 2021, that was reported through our online system.</p> <p>The suspect was perceived to be:</p> <ul> <li>White male</li> <li>6’2”-6’4”</li> <li>250-280 pounds</li> <li>Short hair, possibly gray or light-colored</li> <li>Tattoo on right calf</li> <li>Wearing blue shorts and a Reebok sweatshirt</li> <li>Had a cane on March 29, but not on March 31</li> <li>Green and white buff</li> <li>Tan ballcap</li> </ul> <p>CUPD is investigating these incidents. The victims reported that someone entered their apartment between 1:30 and 3 a.m. through an unlocked sliding patio door. One person was in the apartment when the burglary occurred, but did not have contact with the suspect and was not aware of the incident until later. During the course of the investigation, officers discovered that this was the second time that someone had entered this apartment and taken items. A previous burglary occurred on Jan. 8, 2021. That incident had not been previously reported.</p> <p>Several identification items were taken this morning, including a passport, student visa, clothes, shoes, and a wallet with a driver’s license and debit and credit cards. A large hiking backpack was also taken. The suspect appears to have left behind some of their own clothing items. Officers followed bike tracks in the snow leading away from the apartment until they led to a plowed parking lot and the trail ended.</p> <p>CUPD is currently investigating the incident. The incident occurred in the parking lot at 1350 20th St. in the area of the Marine Court Apartments. The victim reported seeing the suspect squatting near the victim’s vehicle going to the bathroom. The victim and the suspect got into a verbal altercation. The suspect then entered a pickup truck and the victim backed up onto the sidewalk to give the truck room to leave. The suspect then backed the vehicle up onto the sidewalk toward the victim. The victim believed the suspect was trying to hit him with his vehicle.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The suspect was perceived to be:</p> <ul> <li>a white male in his late 20s</li> <li>5’9” to 5’11” tall, medium build&nbsp;</li> <li>Brown hair and brown eyes</li> <li>Clean shaven with possible acne scars on his face</li> <li>Wearing a blue jacket with brown pants.</li> </ul> <p>The vehicle was later located in the King Soopers parking lot at 1650 30th St., but the suspect was not located during a search of the area. The males were in two different large pickup trucks. Two college-aged people, a male and a female, were walking through the parking lot when they started to verbally engage the high school students. The verbal altercation escalated and the college-aged male displayed a knife with a blade that was approximately 3 inches long. The male threatened the entire group and held one of the high school students up against one of the trucks. A small crowd started to gather and the two college-aged people left, heading south on Broadway and then east on Baseline Road.
