Is your student looking for a summer internship? Or a full-time job after graduation? There are plenty of resources out there to help them in their search. Whether your student is seeking job boards, networking events or information about companies, here are some favorite tools and websites.

Handshake is CU鈥檚 online job database. Thousands of employers post about 8,000 jobs and internships a month, from all over the globe. Your student can also use Handshake to learn about upcoming events, connect with employers and apply for on-campus interviews.听
According to a 2018 study by SilkRoad, Indeed 鈥渨as the dominant source of both interviews and hires,鈥 accounting for over 65% of online hires. Your student can browse jobs, upload their resume and find events to start connecting with employers.
If your student is interested in international opportunities, GoinGlobal is the place to start. Every country has a different way to approach the job search. For example, some countries expect a picture or marital status on a resume 鈥 not something we normally do in the U.S. GoinGlobal provides sample resumes, job boards and cultural guides for cities and countries around the world. Your student can use GoinGlobal to learn how to stand out in an international market, find job openings and learn about the work visa process.听
For international students looking to find work in the U.S., GoinGlobal also offers information on the top 200 companies that have applied for H1B visas in most major U.S. cities. This can help identify international student-friendly employers. Students can access GoinGlobal through the Career Services Resource Library.
Built In Colorado is 鈥淐olorado鈥檚 hub for startups and technology.鈥 Your student can check out the internship and job board, plus events like free skill-building workshops, lectures and networking. There is also a database of startups based in Colorado. They can research companies by size and how long they鈥檝e been around, or read featured articles.
If your student is looking to stay in Colorado with a summer internship or future career, BizWest is a great resource to identify business trends and learn about new companies. On BizWest, your student can see companies that may be hiring, have gained funding or have new projects or initiatives. It can help them target companies or do research for upcoming interviews.

AngelList is an internship and job database for computer science and data analytics positions in startup companies around the world. Your student can browse thousands of jobs by location, skill level or type of position.听听

Your student can connect with CU 麻豆影院 alumni and other students on the Forever Buffs Network. Encourage them to create an account and network or set up informational interviews with alumni to learn more about jobs or industries they鈥檙e interested in.
Most people don鈥檛 know that LinkedIn鈥檚 alumni pages are searchable databases. On , your student can search alumni to connect with fellow Buffs, find companies that hire Buffs and view potential jobs of interest. This feature works best if your student has a LinkedIn account. While many people may know Glassdoor for its company reviews and salary information, it also offers information on interviews within companies.
