Dr. Bill Farrell is a space plasma physicist and principal investigator of the SSERVI/DREAM2 center for space environments at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center. His research interests include surface charging of human systems on airless bodies in both nominal solar wind and in solar storms. He also is currently examining the properties of the weathered surface to understand the origin of lunar surface hydroxylation and gain insights on the process of cold trapping.
