Dr. Leon Koopmans

Dr. Koopmans is the PI of the LOFAR Epoch of Reionization Key Science Project. Additionally, he was the former chair of the SKA EoR/CD Science Working Group and is currently the chair of the SKA EoR/CD Science Team. Dr. Koopmans is also a full professor at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute, University of Groningen. He is an expert in reionization and cosmic dawn science, interferometry (low-frequency radio arrays), and data science.
