We鈥檙e looking forward to Singaporean pianist Margaret Leng Tan鈥檚 residency at the College of Music next week, including a听听featuring the last completed composition by George Crumb (1929-2022),听Metamorphoses, Book II.听Celebrated paintings by such artists as Chagall, Klee, Picasso, van Gogh, O鈥橩eeffe and Wyeth inspired each of the work鈥檚 10 movements. Associate Professor of Music Theory Steven Bruns will introduce the performance and highlight the significance of Crumb鈥檚 long association with our College of Music.
