CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 Grammy Award-winning Tak谩cs Quartet celebrates 50 years

• Alternative keyboard offers College of Music students greater reach: The College of Music has had an alternatively-sized keyboard on loan since April 2023. Recent graduate Abigail Terrill shares how the narrower keyboard is helpful, why it鈥檚 needed and what her thesis research found about the process of transitioning between pianos.听
• (Daily Camera): Middle school students recently met Luka Vezmar, a College of Music junior, who is tasked with combining the band, orchestra and choir students鈥� suggestions into a single piece, which will premiere at a November school concert. Platt band director Caleb Starbuck started the composer program more than 15 years ago in partnership with our Professor of Composition Carter Pann.
• Tomorrow, Sept. 13, join us for our faculty + staff picnic鈥攖hanks to the College of Music Staff Council鈥攁t the Koenig Alumni Center, 4-6 p.m., featuring a delicious taco bar from Chipotle!听
